Soumya Suvra Ghosal

I am a first-year Ph.D. student in the CS dept at the University of Maryland, College Park. I am fortunate to be advised by Prof. Dinesh Manocha. Prior to this, I completed my Master's in Computer Science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where I was lucky to be advised by Prof. Sharon Li. I am broadly interested in the domain of Multi-Modal Learning, Robust Deep Learning, and Trustworthy AI. Specifically, I am interested in solving a critical question: How to make deep-learning models more reliable and robust when deployed in the wild?

I am currently looking for research internships for Summer 2024. Please get in touch if you have any open positions.
